About the Collective
fostering connection and community through creativity
The Artist in Everyone
Our Mission Statement: To awaken the artist in everyone, transforming local creativity into a catalyst for community well-being, healing, and belonging.
Who are we?
We are members and supporters of the Camano Island and Stanwood local communities and we value each other, our community, and the joy art can bring to everyone. We come together to make art, and support others in making art as well.
What do we do?
As members of CAC we work together to encourage one another's artistic growth and to bring the joy of art to the community. We encourage participation in local creative events like the Stanwood Camano Fair or Plean Air art competition. We will hold local art exhibits for members as well as creative events where we learn new skills from one another. Members of CAC also work with service organizations in the community to fight isolation and improve mental health for our community as a whole.
There is no cost to sign up, just fill out the form that says you want to join and that's it! CAC will respond to welcome you to the collective. Thanks for your interest in our collective, we can't wait to work together to help our community through art!
Membership in CAC is an invitation to connect, grow, and contribute to the island's artistic community. We welcome all perspectives and skill levels.
